We provide disposable cold snares which perfectly balance high quality with cost effectiveness. Available in different shapes, configurations and sizes to suit different clinical needs. These are specifically used for cutting small or medium sized polyps in the gastrointestinal tract.
Produced with a PTFE sheath and a snare made of twisted wire. Available in standard, micro, and macro versions, using monofilament or polyfilament. Polyfilament is typically used for general polyp removal, while the stiffer monofilament is ideal for the resection of flat lesions. All snares feature an ergonomic 3-ring handle.
Packaging: Delivered in boxes of 10 pieces, sterile packaged.
In addition to organ resection, Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD) and Endoscopic Mucosal Resection (EMR) are choice methods for removing early tumorous changes in the gastrointestinal tract. If a lesion is removed with a snare, it is defined as an EMR procedure. For larger areas or en bloc ablation, the ESD procedure utilizing special electrosurgical knives is more suitable, depending on the malignancy risk.
